DirectMD Greeneville operates as a Direct Primary Care practice. It’s a new approach to medicine. So, how is it different?
Did you know that most Primary Care Physicians have between 2,500-3,500 patients? Dr. Berry will limit his practice to approximately 500 patients, and hopes that another doctor will join him to be able to serve more patients. This means that he can spend more time with you when you need him. It also means that when he is not actively seeing a patient, he is able to coordinate your care and research the latest advances in treatments. Your well-being is Dr. Berry’s priority, and the reason for why he does what he does.
DirectMD Greeneville (formerly PATMOS EmergiClinic as some of you might have known us) has never and will never sign contracts with Ballad Health, Summit Medical Group, or any insurance company. We don’t allow them to enter our exam rooms, and they are not part of our overhead. Because of this, we are probably the most personal, simple, transparent, and cost-effective primary care practice in this area.

You heard right. There is no cost to members to see the doctor during office hours for chronic problems such as management of diabetes and hypertension or for acute problems such as a sore throat or sinus infection.
Because our membership will be limited to about 500 members, we don’t have to “squeeze you in.” You are our priority and you will feel like it. We will do everything in our power to see you the same day you need us if you contact us before noon.
You will be able to reach us by cell phone, text, email, and even regular landline telephone from anywhere at virtually anytime – even after hours, on weekends, and holidays – if needed
